Precisely one year ago, my first foray into Africa was as a member of a team of volunteers of EDUCAFRICA (Portuguese NGDO).

Africa2Eco was the mission that took us to (unbelievable) dumps in Maputo and Matola, to schools to spread environmental awareness and provide training on plastic recycling on Maputo municipality.

My role was the easiest – Being behind the camera takes you to another dimension, where the lens works like filters and shields from reality.

…maybe we should look at the real world around us, raise a hand and make the change.

On these days, my thoughts are with Mozambique and with all those I met there that helped me to become a better world citizen.

Sharing with you all a little piece of the world through my eyes is somehow part of the mission.
